Daisuke Matsuzaka left Sunday's game against the Padres after one inning due to a severe stomach ache.
It was reported earlier than Matsuzaka was battling a stomach ailment, but this confirms it. The good news is that Matsuzaka is not injured and should be able to make his next start without issue. Carlos Torres took over for Dice-K in the bottom of the second inning.ANALYST: David Kerr
Bills are expected to release Mario Williams.
It was obvious that he was not fitting into the defensive scheme being employed by Rex Ryan and his staff. At 31 years of age, he still should have some skills left to devote to another team that will utilize his pass rush and tackling abilities. Look for him to catch on with another team if Buffalo decides to cut him loose. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson
DeMarcus Ware said that he intends to continue playing.
Ware has been quoted as saying that "he's got a lot of gas left in the tank," so this announcement comes as no huge shock.
