Billy Hamilton went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers.
Hamilton's production has been up and way down at times this season, including of late, where he came into Saturday's game having just five hits to his name over his previous nine games. The home run was just the third in 214 at-bats for Hamilton, but you didn't draft him for his power so any production there is a bonus to his current season total of 25 stolen bases (eight caught stealing, including one on Saturday).ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Carl Crawford exited Monday night's game with tightness in his right side.
It was only a matter of time before the glass-made Crawford cracked in some capacity. It's unknown whether or not he'll need a DL stint to rid him of the tightness, but if he does Scott Van Slyke and Alex Guerrero are likely to fill in for him. Guerrero has been among the hottest hitters in baseball, in a limited role, and would become mixed league relevant if/when he finds himself in the lineup. Don Mattingly, however, doesn't appear to be Guerrero's biggest fan. Let's hope he's not pigeon-holed to pinch-hitting duties. Analysis: Spencer Silva
