UPDATES & NEWS
Wilson Ramos is on track to only need the minimum 15 days on the disabled list before returning from a hamstring strain.
While some may think Ramos' placement on the DL was a bit premature, the Nationals did the right thing with the move given the catcher's injury history. Better safe than sorry. Hopefully the reports are accurate and he'll come off the DL as soon as he is eligible.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
