Patriots TE D.J. Williams has not been participating during organized team activities because of a strained calf, but he expects to be ready for the start of training camp.
Obviously Rob Gronkowski is the top tight end but given Tom Brady's unhappiness with his receiving corps and the way the Patriots like to use a two-tight end formation, Williams could see an increased role this season. The other option is Michael Hoomanawanui, so the two will compete at camp for the "back-up" job.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Greg Hardy will miss Thursday's OTA for suspension appeal.
The reports are that the newest Cowboys defensive end will get his 10 game suspension reduced significantly. The problem is, no one knows what the league is doing anymore with their penalties. Remember that the league suspended Ray Rice two games for knocking out his fiancee, and Tom Brady four games for allegedly-sorta deflating footballs. Hardy already missed 15 games on the Commissioner's Exempt List last season, which will work in the favor of his appeal. He's currently not slated to return until Week 12. Analysis: Drew Phelps
