Tim Lincecum allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings against the Rockies on Friday.
Lincecum posted his best start of the month on Friday, despite failing to factor into the decision. He is now 5-4 with a 4.81 ERA and 1.49 WHIP through his first 14 stats (76.2 IP) while managing to strikeout just under one batter per inning pitched (8.92 K/9). As long as he can keep striking out his opposition at a high clip, there is still fantasy value to be had from Lincecum even if he doesn't contribute much elsewhere. The Giants hurler will look to get back in the win column when he takes on the Diamondbacks on Friday.
