Carlos Santana went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a 10-3 loss to the Red Sox on Friday.

The 2014 season has been a major struggle for Santana, who found himself hitting in the eight spot in the Indians lineup on Friday night. However, he has shown some signs of life lately, registering at least one RBI in five of his last seven games while sporting a .280 average over that stretch (7-for-25). Even with his recent production Santana is still sitting under the Mendoza Line (.176 BA) making it very difficult to start him on a regular basis, but at least there is hope considering his play this month.
