Drew Hutchison tossed seven shutout innings Friday allowing six hits, no walks, and with three strikeouts in the 4-0 road win over the Orioles.
Hutchison continued his pattern of success on the road as he improved to 4-1 with a 1.79 ERA in nine starts away from the Rogers Centere compared to polar opposite results at home where he is 1-3 with an outlandish 8.72 ERA. Fortunately for his fantasy owners Hutchison's next start will be on the road on Wednesday, although that could still be a little bit debatable as it will be in hitter friendly Yankee Stadium, but what may be more concerning is that the Yankees are a predominantly left-handed hitting team so proceed at your own risk.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Hector Sanchez left Thursday's game after taking a foul tip to the neck.
We should get a better idea on Friday if this injury is serious or not, but even a brief absence could set Sanchez back in his roster battle with Andrew Susac. Susac is younger, and a better hitter and he could be useful in NL-only or if the Giants decide to play Buster Posey more at first base. Sanchez will never have much fantasy value regardless of role though he would probably be better for San Francisco's pitchers. Analysis: Steve Pimental
Ross Ohlendorf left Thursday's game with tightness in his right groin.
This isn't good news for Ohlendorf, especially after he's pitched so well this spring. Given his success, it seems as though the only way that he will be left off of the Rangers' Opening Day roster is if he is out for an extended period of time or has a setback. He will likely fill a long reliever role for Texas with the chance to make an occasional spot start. Analysis: David Kerr
