David Ortiz smacked his 15th home run of the season with two RBI in a 5-2 victory over the Indians on Thursday.
Big Papi took Indians starter Josh Tomlin deep with a monster shot to centerfield in the bottom of the fifth inning. Though his average is down this season, Ortiz has shown great power, smacking 15 home runs. The only detriment to his fantasy game is that he's only eligible at the utility position, but with the numbers he puts up, that matters very little.ANALYST: David Kerr
Jarrod Parker (elbow) hit 92 mph in his simulated game on Saturday.
Parker's surgery was in March of last year, knocking him out for all of 2014. Recovery has gone well for him, and he made a big step earlier in the Spring by throwing to live hitters. This was his second Tommy John procedure, so it's not a surprise that the Athletics are taking it slow with him. Parker had a decent year in 2013, his second full season in the majors, throwing 197 innings en route to a 3.97 ERA and 134 strikeouts. He's not a viable fantasy option this year, though, due to his injury. Analysis: Ben Diamond
