FANTASY PLAYER UPDATES & NEWS

Kevin Williams wants a deal done soon and he's kept the Minnesota Vikings in the mix, he told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday.

Well obviously he wants a deal done soon. Every day that passes where Williams isn't participating in OTAs is another day he falls behind all the youthful up-and-comers looking to make a a strong impression on their coaches. He'll get something done soon enough, especially if he's getting anxious. ANALYST: Howard Bender

Eagles are planning to sign QB Tim Tebow on Monday.

Oh come on now, Chip Kelly. What in the world are you doing here? Tebow and his limited skills will join Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez in the quarterback competition this summer, though it is unlikely Tebow is really being looked at the same. He's more for read options and gimmick plays; nothing more than that. Analysis: Howard Bender

Tony Allen (hamstring) will play on Sunday.

As reported earlier, Rob Fisher of Sports56 WHBQ-87.7 FM was told by Coach Dave Joerger that Allen would play and that the hamstring was strong enough for him to play. Analysis: Howard Bender

Mike Conley (foot) will play on Sunday.

As reported earlier, Rob Fisher of Sports56 WHBQ-87.7 FM was told by Coach Dave Joerger that Conley would play and that the foot was strong enough for him to play. Analysis: Howard Bender

Aaron Afflalo (shoulder) will not play on Sunday.

It was actually announced earlier that C.J. McCollum would get the start and that Afflalo was doubtful to play. This news obviously confirms it. Analysis: Howard Bender

Tony Allen (hamstring) is a game-time decision on Sunday.

While they say Allen is a game-time decision, a report from Rob Fisher of Sports56 WHBQ-87.7 FM says that coach Dave Joerger informed him that Allen would, in fact, play. He may not see the usual 25 minutes he's used to, but after missing the last nine games of the regular season, he'll take what he can get. Analysis: Howard Bender

Mike Conley (foot) is a game-time decision on Sunday.

Conley is actually expected to play according to a report from Rob Fisher of Sports56 WHBQ-87.7 FM. He was originally listed as questionable but said that he felt well enough to give it a go. Beno Udrih will go back to his usual bench role. Analysis: Howard Bender

Victor Martinez went 3-for-3 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored in Sunday’s 9-1 drubbing of the White Sox.

Martinez entered Sundays game on a 1-for-11 slide, but broke out of his mini slump in a big way. Last years second place finisher in the A.L. MVP race is at the heart of a strong lineup and a proven producer. Deploy Martinez in fantasy lineups at will unless the Tigers are playing in an N.L. park and cannot utilize a designated hitter. Analysis: Nate Miller

Yoenis Cespedes went 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in Sunday’s 9-1 rout of the White Sox.

Cespedes definitely appears to be comfortable in the Tigers all-star laden lineup, as the Cuban-born outfielder is now slugging .600 with three homers, four doubles and 10 RBI over the first 12 games of the season. Cespedes should remain a strong source of power throughout the year. Analysis: Nate Miller

Shane Greene worked seven strong innings, giving up one earned run on five hits and four walks while striking out three in Sunday’s 9-1 win over the White Sox.

Greene has been brilliant over his first three starts of 2015. The young righty has allowed just two runs (one earned) on 12 hits and five walks during his 3-0 run to begin the season. Pitching at this level while being supported by the type of lineup the Tigers feature could certainly result in a big win total for Greene. He will be in search of number four Friday night versus the Indians. Analysis: Nate Miller

Jose Quintana struggled mightily over four-plus innings in Sunday’s 9-1 loss to the Tigers, allowing nine earned runs on 10 hits and a walk while picking up just one strikeout.

Quintana suffered through one of the absolute worst outings of his career Sunday afternoon, as he surrendered a career high in runs while lasting just two batters into the fifth inning. The 26-year-old lefty put together an impressive 3.42 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 7.7 K/9 across 65 starts during the last two seasons, but has had a mostly rough go of it so far in 2015. Quintana will look to rebound Friday night versus the Royals. Analysis: Nate Miller

Jacob Realmuto went 1-for-3 with two RBI on Sunday afternoon in Miami's 7-6 loss vs the Mets.

With Salty struggling mightily, expect to see more of Realmuto. He produced on Sunday afternoon with a solid day behind the plate and by knocking in two on a fielder’s choice and via sacrifice fly. This is no endorsement trying to say that Realmuto is a must add, but he is definitely a guy to keep an eye on.  Analysis: Dom Murtha
