Aroldis Chapman earned his eighth save after throwing a perfect inning with one strikeouts against the Phillies on Saturday.
Chapman has now gone seven-straight outings without allowing a run and has notched six saves in doing so. In addition to that, he has 12 strikeouts to zero walks over seven innings. Anyone who was concerned that Chapman would have a hard time getting back into a groove this season after having been hit in the head with a comebacker can officially stop worrying. Heck, you could have stopped worrying after his first appearance. It's tough to find a better closer than this man right here.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Ahmad Brooks (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday.
According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, Brooks is going through the league’s post-concussion protocol this week, which could create more opportunities for Tank Carradine to showcase his skills as an outside pass rusher. The main subs for Brooks on Sunday is rookie Eli Harold, who is ready for the increased workload, however Cory Lemonier and Tank Carradine will be ready to go if needed. Analysis: Dom Murtha
