The Lakers have eliminated Derek Fisher from their coaching search. They have decided they need a coach with previous NBA coaching experience.
While the reason makes sense, it obviously doesn't tell the whole story as Fisher is considered the top candidate for the job in New York. Whether the Lakers don't want to get into a bidding war or someone is doing his son-in-law a favor, Los Angeles will turn its efforts towards someone else.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Dwyane Wade (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game.
Wade didn't play on Wednesday due to a sore knee, so of course he is questionable for Friday. If he isn't in the starting lineup, Mario Chalmers will once again get the start and see a bump in value. Wade has been relatively healthy this season and has produced in a big way in the process. He's averaging 21.6 points and 5.2 assists per game. Analysis: David Kerr
Ross Detwiler has made the Rangers starting rotation.
There are far worse pitchers with starting jobs in baseball, so Detwiler is deserving of this chance. He's bounced back and forth between the starting rotation and the bullpen while pitching for the Nationals, but should settle in as a member of the Rangers' rotation. He has solid value in AL-Only leagues. Analysis: David Kerr
