Nick Swisher (left knee) is scheduled to fly back to Cleveland on Sunday to prep for a rehab assignment with Double-A Akron, which will begin Tuesday or Wednesday.
It sounds as if Swisher is fairly close to his scheduled time to return on June 11; just a few days after, it seems. If he starts Tuesday or Wednesday, he could be back with the Tribe for their weekend series against the Red Sox, however, they may just opt to hold him out until the team returns for their homestand on the 16th which kicks off with a four-game set against the Angels. We'll obviously know more once the rehab assignment begins.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Michael Brantley (back) has returned to the Indians' lineup Sunday.
Brantley was out of the lineup as precaution and now seems to be 100 percent healthy. Brantley was one of the most improved players last season, which has greatly increased his fantasy value as some people are drafting him in the second or third round in fantasy drafts. He'll have to have another strong season in order to return value on that high of a draft pick. Analysis: Mark Kaplan
