Tony Parker did not seem bothered by the lack of air conditioning in the AT&T Center or his sore ankle/hamstring in Thursday's Game 1 victory over the Heat as he was able to play a game-high 37 minutes.
Tony Parker was quoted after Thursday's win as saying, "Ankle felt better and better....and in fourth quarter even better, so I'm excited for Game 2." He added, in regards to playing with out a working AC system during Game 1, "For me personally, it didn't bother me. I felt like I was playing in Europe. We never have AC in Europe. ... I'm used to it." #MannedUpANALYST: Michael Pichan
Joffrey Lauvergne practiced in full Thursday.
Lauvergne has missed the last 12 games due to a back injury but was back practicing in full on Thursday. It's a great sign for the second year pro who played well when he was healthy. He started the three games he played so we will wait and see if that's what Denver has in store for him when he returns to the lineup. Analysis: James Grande
Johnny Manziel was demoted because he lied about were he was.
When video surfaced of Manziel out partying, you just knew that head coach Mike Pettine had enough of this far-too scrutinized situation. Manziel has been a veritable nightmare for the coaches and continues to show a complete lack of maturity. Josh McCown will get the start in Week 12 and, barring injury, is likely the full-time starter moving forward. Analysis: Howard Bender
