Josh Hamilton homered in his return to the Angels lineup on Tuesday, a solo-shot, for his only hit in three at-bats with a walk.
What's more dangerous, drugs to Hamilton, or Hamilton to fantasy owners? Dude is an MVP producer when healthy which always draws us in, but he always brings us down because he is always getting hurt. Hopefully he got the injury out of the way and can stay healthy the remainder of the season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Carmelo Anthony has undergone two MRIs on his ailing knee in the past three weeks.
Things are going from bad to worst for the Knicks. They just had to fire their coach and their star continues to deal with a banged up knee. The MRIs have come back clean but the team is more concerned over his long term health. We would not be surprised if the Knicks shut him down as a result of a lost season. If he does get shut down, it would open the doors for Langston Galloway, Derrick Williams and Lance Thomas to step up and show the organization what they can contribute. Kristaps Porzingis and Arron Afflalo would also have to carry more of the load with him off the court. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Ben McLemore will not play Monday.
This does not come as a surprise, he was considered doubtful to play on Monday night. This is just one less thing we have to worry about going into the evening slate of NBA games. Marco Belinelli will see the biggest uptick in minutes while James Anderson and Darren Collison should see the floor more as well. Analysis: Drew Phelps
The Knicks have fired Derek Fisher, sources told ESPN.
Kurt Rambis is expected to be given the title of "interim" head coach after the firing of Derek Fisher. It just does not seem to be working for Phil Jackson in New York. He hand picked Derek Fisher to be his guy and he lasted less than two full seasons. The Knicks don't seem to have much direction, not to mention that their star continues to deal with his surgically-repaired knee. Analysis: Drew Phelps
