Nick Swisher (knee) could be cleared to begin Minor League rehab at some point during upcoming road trip.

Swisher is expected to be ready to return to the Indians lineup when he is eligible to come off the disabled list on Wednesday, June 11th.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

White Sox activated Dan Jennings from the disabled list.

It's nice to get Jennings back on the active roster but before he went down with the neck injury it was a rough start to the 2015 season. He sat out for about a month and he'll return to the team with a 7.83 ERA. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard are nearing agreement on a five-year max extension worth $120 million.

The Blazers have basically said that they are not going to give LeMarcus Aldridge the money that he would command which means they were saving it for their star point guard. Now that Aldridge is likely leaving town, Lillard becomes the man in Portland. He should post monster numbers in the 2015-16 season without Aldridge to command the ball in the paint.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

DeMarre Carroll has agreed to a four year, $60M deal with the Toronto Raptors, league source tells Yahoo.

The Raptors have dealt with a huge hole in their starting lineup at the small foward position. Terrence Ross has just not gotten the job done and this means that Carroll will jump right into his spot. Carroll brings a toughness to the defensive end of the floor along with a great outside shooting stroke.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Daniel Nava will DH for Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday.

Nava is still recovering from a thumb injury, but his work as the DH should be considered encouraging. He is expected to return shortly before the All Star break, though it might be tough for manager John Farrell to find him at-bats. Analysis: Howard Bender

Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal.

At the end of last season, Middleton said that he wanted to remain with the Bucks and the team made retaining him a priority. In his first year under Jason Kidd, he averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals over 30 minutes per game and will remain a focal point of the team moving forward. Analysis: Howard Bender

The San Antonio Spurs have traded center Tiago Splitter to the Atlanta Hawks, according to league sources.

After signing Danny Green, the Spurs are now looking to dump salary and open up some space to go after free agent LaMarcus Aldridge. Splitter averaged 8.2 points and 4.8 rebounds over 19.8 minutes per game last year and would serve in a similar role for the Hawks this season unless they cut him loose as well. Analysis: Howard Bender

Steve Tolleson (groin) has been activated from the disabled list and designated for assignment.

With Devon Travis returning to the lineup, Tolleson's services won;t be needed at this time. The Jays will stash him away in Triple-A for the time being and when infield depth is needed, he will be summoned. Analysis: Howard Bender

Danny Green has agreed to a four-year, $45 million deal with the Spurs.

The Spurs were obviously happy with Green's performance last season as he posted a career best 11.7 points, 2.4 three-pointers, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.2 steals over 29 minutes per game over 81 games. He will be asked to fill a similar role this season and beyond. Analysis: Howard Bender

There is a 16-day rehab period for players suspended for PEDs use which, for Ervin Santana, won't expire until after Sunday. He will not be activated until then.

Santana will be activated next week and likely join the Twins rotation immediately. Now the question remains as to which Santana we'll see. His 2013 season with the Royals was surprisingly strong as he posted a 3.24 ERA over 211 innings (32 starts), but then struggled a bit more often in 2014 as he posted a 3.95 ERA over 196 innings. He did, in 2014, see a significant increase in his strikeout rate -- jumping from a 6.85 K/9 in 2013 to an 8.22 mark last year. He should be owned, just to see how he fares in pitcher-friendly Target Field, but we wouldn't throw him in right away. Let him get his fee wet for a start or two just to see. Analysis: Howard Bender

The Magic have offered Paul Millsap a max four-year deal, worth $80M.

Paul Millsap now has two max offers to mull over with the Magic and Hawks both offering the same deal. Millsap has cancelled meetings with other teams and seems set to accept one of the two deals on the table. Last year Millsap averaged 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.9 blocks while on the floor for 32.7 minutes per game.  Analysis: Greg Jewett

Joe Mauer is not in the Twins starting lineup Wednesday.

On a modest five game hit streak in which Joe Mauer is 7-for-19 (.368), he is not in the lineup on Wednesday. Mauer has four home runs and 39 RBI with a .263 batting average and .704 OPS. Mauer will return to action when the Twins face Kansas City on Thursday. Analysis: Greg Jewett

Torii Hunter is not in the Twins starting lineup Wednesday.

Torii Hunter is having a very productive season in a quiet manner for the Twins. With hits in nine of his last ten games and four home runs in his last four games, a day of rest can do him more good than harm. Hunter is hitting .272 this season with 12 home runs and 44 RBI and should return to the lineup when the Twins are in Kansas City on Thursday. Analysis: Greg Jewett
