UPDATES & NEWS
Tony Parker (ankle) will not return to Saturday's game.
One writer said he rolled his ankle and another said he hurt his foot, so we'll wait for a team update before categorizing the injury. The fact remains though that he won't return and that is likely to impact the Spurs the rest of the game. Parker had eight points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) in 19 first half minutes. Cory Joseph started the second half and Patty Mills will likely see more minutes.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Cubs will recall Addison Russell from Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday.
Welp, this is a surprise. Russell is arguably a better prospect than Kris Bryant, albeit from more of a real-life than fantasy perspective. He had 11 hits in 37 at-bats at Iowa with a home run and will immediately slot in as the Cubs' everyday second baseman. The Cubs aren't likely to fool around with a prospect of Russell's caliber, so you can expect he'll be in the lineup as long as he's on the 25-man roster. He needs to be owned in all leagues and has the potential to contribute in both the power and speed categories and will qualify at both MI positions. Get excited. Analysis: Spencer Silva
Frankie Hammond signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender.
Although it’s harsh to say, many receivers see their careers take a downfall after going to Kansas City. Alex Smith isn’t capable of helping his star wideouts produce big numbers. Last year was a prime example in that Smith never connected with a wide receiver for a touchdown. Jeremy Maclin should break that this year and put up decent numbers, but he is the only wide receiver in Kansas City that should be drafted. Stay away from Hammond. Analysis: Colby Conway
