Justin Verlander's average fastball velocity is down three miles per hour from three years ago, according to FanGraphs.

Verlander got blown up again yesterday against the Rangers allowing 11 hits, three walks, and six earned runs not even through six innings of work. This is obviously some of the worst we've ever seen from Verlander in his career. Verlander is striking out hitters at his lowest rate since his first full season in the big leagues in 2006. Verlander's ERA has grown to over four with a 1.51 WHIP, and 50/30 K/BB ratio.
