Tim Lincecum improved to 4-3 with a win over the Twins on Friday despite allowing two runs on five hits and a season-high six walks with four strikeouts over six innings.
Lincecum benefited from another night of the Giants offense going off as they scored six runs, which marked the eighth time in 10 starts that the former CY Young has had three runs or more of support this year. Lincecum's increasing walk rate with an overall lower K-rate, compared to previous years, has all arrows pointing to you trying to sell him.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Gary Neal will start Monday against the Clippers.
Neal will be starting in place of Kevin Martin, who is dealing with some sort of bug that has been going around. With the added minutes, Neal should be able to bring his nine point per game production up to more helpful levels, so give him a shot on Monday night, if you feel so inclined. Analysis: Dom Murtha
