Leonys Martin entered Thursday's game following an injury to Dan Robertson and went 2-for-4 with two singles and two strikeouts.

The fact Martin was able to pinch-hit and remain in the game is a strong sign that he will be good to go moving forward, although the Rangers were not planning on using him in Thursday's contest. Fantasy owners will want to get him back in starting lineups as soon as possible. ANALYST: Matthew Beck

Andrew Miller threw 30 pitches in the bullpen Saturday and said he would like a rehab assignment to face as close to MLB game speed as possible.

This is a great sign for the Yankees as it would be a big boost for the team to have Miller back in pen after the All-Star break. Miller's arm felt great after throwing in the bullpen and it would be a good choice to have him make a rehab appearance. Once back and healthy it will be interesting to see what role he will be taking on as Betances has taken over the closing role in Miller's absence and has been phenomenal. Either way when you have Miller and Betances in the back end of a game you are in good shape.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Chris Young is not in the Yankees lineup on Saturday.

After the extra inning game last night it is no surprise to see Young sitting out of the day game today. Young has been solid for the Yankees this season and should be a mainstay in the lineup so don't look at this as a benching for young, just simply a rest day.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Red Sox option Noe Ramirez to Triple-A Pawtucket.

After Steven Wright was recalled from Triple-A it was only a matter of time before someone got the demotion to the minors. The lucky winner was Noe Ramirez, seeing action in only one inning this year Noe gave up 4 runs on 3 hits.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Logan Forsythe is not in the Rays lineup on Saturday.

Forsythe has been in a rut the past 4 games and is likely just getting the day off to get things back on track. He is having a decent year for the Rays, hitting .282 in 81 games.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Brian McCann is not in the Yankees lineup on Saturday.

No surprise here seeing McCann out of the lineup on Saturday. After hitting the walkoff homerun last night in an extra inning bout against the Rays it was expected that McCann would get the day off today being that it is a day game after a night game. McCann may be available off the bench if needed in a pinch hitting role but I would expect him to get the day off and not touch the field.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Red Sox recalled Steven Wright from Triple-A Pawtucket.

The Red Sox have been a complete and utter mess this season, so why not give some other guys a chance to play. Wright will be recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket and likely get in a few starts as well as come out of the pen for the Sox. In 11 games (4 GS) for Wright so far this year he has decent 4.15 ERA. Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Manager Brad Ausmus says Victor Martinez is not an option right now to play first base.

Many would think that Victor Martinez was the option to play first in Miguel Cabrera's absence but it seems as if he will not be the guy going forward. It looks as if Alex Avila will be the guy at first for the Tigers. Martinez will stay in the DH role where he has been a consistent producer for the Tigers this year.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Update: Miguel Cabrera has a grade 3 calf strain and is expected to miss six weeks.

When it was first reported that Miguel Cabrera was placed on the 15-day disabled list it seemed as if he would be out 2-3 weeks. It is now apparent that he will miss 6 weeks. This could be a huge blow to the Tigers contention in the AL Central. Look for Alex Avila to carry the load over at first during Miggy's absence.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Aaron Barrett is expected to begin a rehab with Class A Potomac on Saturday.

Barrett is rehabbing a strained right bicep and will get some time in the minors to make sure he is ready to get back into the big leagues. His performance so far this year has been sub-par and coming off an injury I wouldn't expect him to be much better out of the pen.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Magic have agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal with G C.J. Watson.

Watson is a solid pickup at PG for the Magic. Last year playing for the Pacers, Watson averaged 25 minutes scoring 10 per game while adding 3 assists and 2 rebounds. He will likely fill in the backup PG role and could find some success on this young Magic team.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Quincy Miller suffered a broken nose and will miss 4-6 weeks.

This may hurt Miller's chances of making the Pistons squad being he will miss Summer League. It is yet to be seen where the Pistons will go from here with Miller, but this injury couldn't have come at a worse time for him.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Cubs acquired minor league left-handed pitching prospect Manny Rondon and International slot money from the Angels for catcher Rafael Lopez.

The Cubs have ton of catching depth in the minors so no surprise here to see them ship one off for extra pitching depth and an international slot. This trade should not have any impact on your fantasy teams this year, but Rondon could be someone to watch in the coming years as he starts to develop in the minors.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin
