Zack Greinke settles for the no-decision after allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings in Thursday's loss to the Mets.
Greinke has now allowed just three earned runs over his last three starts as he continues to be arguably the best pitcher in the National League. Despite the no decision, Greinke sits 7-1 with a 2.01 ERA and 1.01 WHIP through his first 10 starts while owning a 65:14 K:BB rate over that stretch. It is safe to say no matter what round he was drafted in this past off-season, he has turned a good return on investment thus far. He will look to keep the ball rolling when he takes on the Reds at home on Tuesday.
