Kevin Durant's game-high 28 points to go with nine rebounds, five assists, and a block before fouling out were not enough as the Thunder dropped Game 1 of the WCF to the Spurs 122-105.

Durant will have to do more than that if he and the Thunder have any shot of defeating the Spurs this series as they will be playing without Serge Ibaka (calf) for the remainder of their playoff lives. The Thunder will look to even the series at a game apiece in Game 2 on Wednesday in San Antonio.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Travis Lewis left Monday's game with an apparent right ankle injury.

Lewis is questionable to return with this ankle injury. He will be missed in the middle of the Detroit defense, leaving the Lions a bit thinner in their front seven. Analysis: Colby Conway

Bryan Bulaga's return may come sooner than first reported as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

The Packers will welcome him back with open arms. Aaron Rodgers will likely be the first to greet him, because Bulaga will help protect the star quarterback. Analysis: Colby Conway

Eric Ebron suffered a knee injury against the Seahawks on Monday. His return is questionable.

Ebron didn't look particularly happy when leaving the field, throwing his helmet in disgust. He looked disappointed when sitting on the cart, likely signifying a rather serious injury. He is questionable to return, but from the way it looked, he's leaning closer to doubtful. Analysis: Colby Conway

Daniel Herron worked out for the Patriots on Monday.

The Patriots love to go after running backs who have had success on other teams. Who knows what is going to come out of this, but at the moment, Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount are the backs to own. Analysis: Colby Conway

Marcus Burley (thumb) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Lions.

The Seahawks secondary will be down one body until Burley is able to return. His current status is that he is questionable to return. Analysis: Colby Conway

Keith Mumphery will likely see an expanded role in the Texans offense with Cecil Shorts sidelined.

Mumphrey caught four passes for 56 yards in Week 4, and could post similar numbers on Thursday night. Nate Washington also left the game injured, leaving the door open for Mumphrey to be the team's second receiver against the Colts. His main usage would come for those who are feeling lucky in DFS, given his extremely low price tag. Analysis: Colby Conway

After working out at Yankee Stadium on Monday, Carlos Gomez (intercostal) said he is ready to start on Tuesday.

The team's midsummer acquisition will be ready for the wild card game tomorrow night. Gomez hit .255 with 12 homers and 17 steals in 2015. Albeit down numbers for him, look for him to be a key component for Houston moving forward. Analysis: Colby Conway

Jason Jones left Monday's game after suffering an apparent shoulder injury.

Since he was coming off a knee injury this off-season, the fact that he is going to the sideline with a shoulder injury is not as bad as it could have been. Still, the Lions do not need to lose one of their starting DEs, especially with Ezekial Ansah getting back on the field after his groin injury kept him out of action recently. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Carmelo Anthony said he has no plans to ask for a trade if things don't go well with the Knicks this upcoming season.

That is good news for the Knick faithful, as he can step in and light it up when healthy. Coming off surgery to repair his knee, the team is going to hitch their horses to him and hope he can keep them in most games this season. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

D'Angelo Russell (foot) practiced in full on Monday and said he is good physically overall.

The foot injury he suffered on Friday was reported to be minor, and this news just supports that prognosis. He is on track to open the preseason Sunday as the starting point guard for the Lakers. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Al-Farouq Aminu will not play Monday due to the birth of his child.

He is penciled in as the starting small forward for Portland this season. Surely the team can afford him the option of attending the birth of his child and allow him to miss a preseason game. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Dwayne Allen was listed as a full participant in Monday's practice.

That is a good sign for his being able to return to action during the short week with a Thursday match up against the Texans on tap. If Andrew Luck is back in action on Thursday, look for him to utilize both Allen and Coby Fleener effectively. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Marcelo Huertas will not play on Tuesday because he will be receiving his immigration documents.

That is a new one for missing a game. No job is done until the paperwork is complete, however, and the 32-year old guard has plenty of experience so that he will not be harmed by missing the one game to take care of his documentation. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Cardinals are optimistic that Yadier Molina (hand) will be on the postseason roster.

Molina was a soft option at the end of the season, so while he is a great player behind the dish in handling the pitching staff, his offense is not a difference maker this season. The team may be happier with its veteran backstop, but he is likely a hole in the lineup going forward. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Luke Kuechly (concussion) is “doing much better" and there is optimism he’ll be back on the field against the Seahawks.

Optimism is a fine thing, but the fact remains that he needs to clear the protocol before he can take to the field again. Once he gets back in uniform and on the field, plug him into your IDP lineup, but not before that. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson
