Seahawks have terminated the contract of TE Travis Beckum.

Seahawks let Beckhum go to in order to free up space as the team signed three new players Monday. Of the three new signees, the name that stands out most is DE Cassius Marsh whom the team drafted in the 4th round (108th overall) this past draft.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Hakeem Nicks left practice Saturday with an injury to his leg.

The good news of the situation is that he was able to walk (limp) off the field under his own power, but that's about the only good news in the situation. There isn't any other information regarding the situation right now, but the Titans should give an update soon. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Colorado Rockies place outfielder Corey Dickerson on the 15-day Disabled List.

Dickerson suffered a non-displaced fracture of the ribs and is out indefinitely. It's tough to envision him coming back before September at this point. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Miami Dolphins claim WR Cobi Hamilton off waivers.

Hamilton was recently waived by the Bengals. He will take the spot of WR Kai De La Cruz on the Dolphins roster. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Rockies Designate pitcher Aaron Laffey for assignment.

Laffey's been solid on long relief for the Rockies, but he will now be DFA'd. He has a 3.68 ERA in three appearances out of the bullpen this season, and could be claimed by another club. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Colorado Rockies reinstate pitcher Christian Bergman off the 15 day disabled list.

Bergman last pitched on June 28th, missing over a month with a shoulder injury. He's likely to take the place of the injured Kyle Kendrick in the Rockies rotation. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Colorado Rockies recall pitcher Scott Oberg from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Oberg was last with the club in early July, and has a 5.97 ERA out of the bullpen. He'll likely serve as middle relief depth while with the club. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Nori Aoki is not in Saturday nights starting lineup.

Aoki will sit for the first time since being activated from the DL with a broken leg back on July 27th. Justin Maxwell will take his place in left field, hitting sixth in the lineup, but isn't an attractive daily fantasy option, as the Giants will be facing Cole Hamels. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Greg Holland picked up a save in Saturday afternoon’s 7-6 win over the Blue Jays, working around a hit and a walk during a scoreless bottom of the ninth inning.

For those that are yet to hear the news, the Royals bullpen is pretty good. Holland, a two-time All-Star, has actually been the third or fourth best option for Manager Ned Yost in the later innings this season. However, the 29-year-old closer has now converted 23-of-26 save chances on the year while pitching to a solid 3.03 ERA and 9.6 K/9 across 32 2/3 innings. Analysis: Nate Miller

Eric Hosmer went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, three RBI and a run scored during Saturday’s 7-6 win over the Blue Jays.

At 25 years of age, Hosmer is blossoming into a bonafide star at the highest level. The young first baseman is swinging one of the hottest bats in the league right now, as he has hit an even .500 (28-of-56) with eight extra-base hits, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored during his current 14-game hitting streak. Analysis: Nate Miller

Ben Zobrist went 3-for-4 with two solo homers, a double and three runs scored in Saturday’s 7-6 win over the Blue Jays.

After going 1-for-8 over his first two days in a Royals uniform, Zobrist came up with a big performance Saturday afternoon in Toronto. The versatile veteran simply owns Blue Jays lefty Mark Buehrle, as Zobrist is now 14-for-36 with two doubles and two homers in previous battles between the two.  Analysis: Nate Miller
