Browns have signed WR Anthony Armstrong, per league source.
The last time we saw Anthony Armstrong being productive in the NFL was with the Redskins under Browns new OC Kyle Shanahan. Armstrong is now 31 and not the biggest of targets at 5'11 and 180 lbs but he can flat out fly. The Browns must of gotten more bad news about the availability of Josh Gordon for the 2014 season because if they are going to rely on Armstrong at all this season, Johnny Manziel will have a rough rookie campaign. Jake Marisnick was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Thursday night against the Royals.
Jake Marisnick had two hits from the bottom of the order which included a double and a run scored in Houston’s 5 -2 win over Kansas City on Thursday night. His double in the second inning with two outs kept the inning alive and Marisnick scored on a single by Jose Altuve before Yordano Ventura left the game after a rain delay in the second inning. Although Marisnick struggled in the second half, he did finish September/October with a .275 average with three home runs and seven stolen bases. Analysis: Greg Jewett
