The Bears and WR Brandon Marshall have agreed on a $40 million contract extension.

Marshall was set to make $9.1 million this season in the final year of a five-year deal he signed back in 2010. Rather than let him hit the free agent market, the Bears did a good job of locking him down through the 2017 season. Now if they could just surround him with better receivers to take the pressure off.
