Jason Motte (elbow) says if all goes well with his bullpen session Sunday, he'll be activated on Tuesday.

Motte was said to be potentially activated Sunday, but the team wanted one more bullpen session out of him before doing so. Once activated, he should slot back into an eight-inning set-up role.ANALYST: Howard Bender

Jaguars re-sign exclusive rights free agent Ryan Davis.

Davis, who had 6.5 Sacks in 2014 despite coming off of the bench all season, could be a sleeper of an IDP option if he ends up winning the starting Defensive End job heading into the 2015 season. Analysis: Brad Costilo

A.J. Hawk is expected to visit the Bengals next week.

After nine productive seasons in Green Bay in which he racked up 923 Tackles in 142 games, Hawk was released a few weeks ago. There's a good chance that Green Bay's decision to cut Hawk was related to his substantial drop-off in production (28 fewer tackles, 4.5 fewer sacks, one fewer fumble, and on fewer interception in 2014 than in 2013, while playing a full 16 games). That being said, Hawk is still capable of putting together a 100-tackle season in 2015 if he ends up starting for whatever team he eventually signs with, and that would make him a viable option in IDP leagues. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Jeremy Hellickson (rib) will pitch on Sunday.

Hellickson, who put together back-to-back-to-back dominant minor-league seasons in 2008-2008 (2.71 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 421 Strikeouts in 385 innings), has never been able to translate that ability into major-league dominance, posting a 3.78 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 463 Strikeouts in 640 innings pitched over his five year major-league career. Hellickson will, justifiably, go undrafted in most fantasy leagues this year. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Manager John Farrell said Rusney Castillo is making progress from his oblique injury and will start throwing on Saturday.

The Red Sox signed the 27-year-old Cuban to a $72.5 million contract in August of 2014, with the hopes that he would be able to show the same kind of power and speed that made him a star in his native country. It appears that Castillo is recovering from his oblique injury, and there isn't expected to be any lingering issue heading into the regular season. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Desmond Jennings has spent the past two seasons playing center field. Left field now appears to be in Jennings' future. When Kevin Cash was asked if he saw Jennings playing a lot of left field this year, the Rays manager answered: "Yes. I do."

This move doesn't really impact Jennings fantasy value, which is down a bit after a disappointing 2014 season in which he hit .244 with 10 Home-runs and 15 Stolen-bases. Jennings has shown that he is capable of hitting 15+ Home-runs and stealing 30+ bases if he can remain healthy for a full season (Jennings hit 14 HRs in 139 games in 2013, and stole 31 bases in 132 games in 2012), which makes him a fantastic value at his current average-draft position (which is around 300th overall). Analysis: Brad Costilo

O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will not play Saturday.

The days of Mayo being a solid scoring threat at the Shooting Guard position are behind us, with him averaging under 16 points per game every year since 2009-10. His current average of 11.8 points per game is within half-a-point of his career low, and the 2.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds he adds per game doesn't make up for the mediocre scoring. At this point, Mayo is a sub-par option in all fantasy formats when healthy, and doesn't warrant any fantasy consideration when less than 100%. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Update: Turns out Lucas Duda didn't take batting practice Friday, but hopes to be in games early next week.

Duda was a surprisingly solid source of power in 2014, hitting 30 Home-runs in 514 at bats. With his current average draft position sitting around the 13th-14th round, Duda is a solid late-round option if you're looking for some Home-run potential on your bench this year. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Yankees signed INF Mat Gamel to a minor league contract.

Despite a solid, five-year minor-league career in which he hit .304 with 105 Home-Runs in 746 games, Gamel has never been able to produce at the major league level. He has no fantasy value at this point. Analysis: Brad Costilo

The Bucks have signed Chris Johnson to a 10-day contract.

The 24-year-old Johnson has appeared in two games for the Utah Jazz this season, averaging seven points in 19 minutes per game. He has no fantasy value at this point. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Chiefs sign LB Josh Mauga to a three-year deal, worth close to $8 million.

Mauga racked up 103 Tackles (82 of which were Solo Tackles) in his first season with the Chiefs in 2014, and you should be able to expect more of the same in 2015. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Clippers bring back Jordan Hamilton for a second 10-day contract.

Hamilton averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 rebound per game in his 4 appearances during his first 10-day stint with the Clippers, and apparently that was enough to warrant another 10-day contract. He has no value in fantasy leagues. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Update: Daniel Murphy (hand) said he is headed for an X-ray, but doctors think the injury is not overly serious.

As reported earlier, Murphy is one of the few NL Second Basemen that should get fantasy owners double-digit steals and home runs in 2015. With this injury appearing to be minor, you can continue to consider him a solid option on draft day. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Jets are expected to release WR Percy Harvin, sources say.

With the Jets acquisition of Brandon Marshall from the Bears, it appears that Percy Harvin was suddenly expendable in the eyes of the Jets coaching and front-office staff. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who paid attention to the stories coming out of Seattle last year when Harvin was shipped over to the Jets for what seemed like a very small amount, as he was labelled as a disruptive force in the locker-room. That being said, Harvin still has a unique skill-set that allows him to be a dangerous weapon in the return game, out of the backfield, and as a receiver. Analysis: Brad Costilo
