Mo Williams said he will opt out of the final year of his 2-year deal with Blazers and become a free agent this offseason.

Williams averaged a career-low 9.7 points over 24.8 minutes per game, also a career-low, and didn;t post very impressive rebound or assist numbers either. He also missed Games 3, 4 and 5 of the series against the Spurs with a groin injury. Is this really the best time for a 30-year-old under-performer to go out and seek a better deal?
