Richie Weeks is not in the Brewers starting lineup Friday.

Even though Weeks is 12-for-19 (.632) with a homer and five RBI over his last seven games, he is still technically in a platoon with Scooter Gennett. You can't really blame manager Ron Roenicke for pulling him despit the numbers. Everyone knows that a run like this is usually followed up by a long series of 0-for-5's with multiple strikeouts so perhaps Roenicke is just trying to put off the inevitable and keep this hot streak alive for as long as he can.
