Russell Westbrook doubled up with 19 points and 12 assists to help lead the Thunder to a Game 6 104-98 series clinching victory over the Clippers Thursday.
Westbrook logged his third doubled-double in five games on Thursday night and is now averaging 21.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.9 assists over 13 postseason games. The Thunder will now move on to take on the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and they will need Westbrook to be on top of his game if they want to make another run for an NBA title. Devin Hester (toe) has been cleared to return from injury in Week 13.
Hester has been on short-term IR all year with the toe injury and has finally been cleared to return. Considering the offensive struggles for the Falcons, he may be used as more than just a return man. There's been little help opposite Julio Jones so perhaps Hester will get a crack at some extra snaps. He certainly couldn't do worse than what the team has there right now. Of course, Matt Ryan still has to wake up as well. Analysis: Howard Bender
