Dustin McGowan was lit up yet again, this time for four runs on nine hits and two walks with three strikeouts over just four innings against the Indians on Wednesday.

McGowan lasted just four innings on Wednesday night, which was the fourth time in eight starts in which he didn't pitch into the fifth inning. He is now sitting 2-2 with a 5.08 ERA and 1.62 WHIP through 39.0 innings while holding down an unimpressive 27:17 K:BB rate. If the Blue Jays had other options to fill in for McGowan they would pull the plug, but for now he is going to continue getting starts despite struggling out the gates. McGowan will look to make something out of his miserable start to the season when he takes on the Red Sox next Tuesday.
