Masahiro Tanaka tossed a four-hit complete game shutout Wednesday without allowing a walk and striking out eight Mets to move to 6-0 on the season.

Tanaka improved to 6-0 following Wednesday night's complete game shutout of the Mets as he continues to take the league by storm. He is now sporting a 2.17 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP through his first eight starts while averaging well over one strikeout per inning pitched (10.24 K/9). As long as he can keep limiting his walks (7 BB) while racking up the strikeouts (66 K) he will only get better as he gets more innings under his belt. The Yankee phenom will be on the hunt for win No. 7 when he takes on the Cubs next Tuesday.
