Steve Kerr accepts Warriors' head coach job.
Terms of the agreement have not been released just yet, but this has to be a blow to the Knicks who, just days ago, seemed to be the front-runner for Kerr's services. He'll certainly have his work cut out for him as many of the players on the current roster were big fans of Mark Jackson and were not happy about his dismissal.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Matt Andriese gave up four runs over 3 1/3 innings as the Rays lost to the Yankees 5-3 on Sunday.
The Yanks hit Andriese up pretty good on Sunday, but it wasn’t like they absolutely shelled him. Four runs on eight hits over 3 1/3 innings isn’t pretty, but it also isn’t catastrophic. In any case, manager Kevin Cash decided to pull the 25-year-old right-hander after only 63 pitches, leaving the rest of the game up to the bullpen. He now appears to have a spot in this Ray’s rotation, so he needs to work on stretching himself out and keeping the ball on the ground, rather than getting hit hard or getting into deep counts. As of now, he’s not worth a fantasy roster spot, so look for starting pitching help somewhere else on the waiver wire. Analysis: Dom Murtha
