Cowboys VP Stephen Jones says Tony Romo is progressing great and will be ready to play in Week 1.
Romo was a full participant in the team's workout Tuesday and everything in his recovery from back surgery has been going very well so far. How much work he gets in training camp in August is not yet known, but he is fully expected to be under center for the Cowboys for Week 1.ANALYST: Howard Bender
The Rangers released Ryan Ludwick on Sunday.
Ludwick was notified a couple days back that he would not be making the big-league team and was allowed to search for another team. He has struggled in Spring Training and hasn't been able to get over the .700 OPS mark the last two seasons. The Rangers will look internally to create outfield options for the 2015 season.
