Royals announce that INF Omar Infante has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
As we stated earlier, the injury bug continues to feast on the suddenly frail Infante. He's dealt with shoulder and elbow problems early on and now the back is acting up in a major way. Johnny Giavotella will continue to man the keystone but look for the Royals to maybe bring up another utility infielder to keep him covered.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Joffrey Lauvergne practiced in full Thursday.
Lauvergne has missed the last 12 games due to a back injury but was back practicing in full on Thursday. It's a great sign for the second year pro who played well when he was healthy. He started the three games he played so we will wait and see if that's what Denver has in store for him when he returns to the lineup. Analysis: James Grande
Johnny Manziel was demoted because he lied about were he was.
When video surfaced of Manziel out partying, you just knew that head coach Mike Pettine had enough of this far-too scrutinized situation. Manziel has been a veritable nightmare for the coaches and continues to show a complete lack of maturity. Josh McCown will get the start in Week 12 and, barring injury, is likely the full-time starter moving forward. Analysis: Howard Bender
