Kevin Durant dropped 40 points on Sunday, but it was not enough as the Clippers tied the series at two games apiece with their win over the Thunder.
Durant has now scored at least 32 points in three straight games, which Sunday's performance being best scoring output through 11 postseason games. The Thunder will need Durant to continue his scoring tear if they want to take down the Clippers so expect the reigning NBA MVP to be on his game this week as they try an advance to the next round. Jake Marisnick was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Thursday night against the Royals.
Jake Marisnick had two hits from the bottom of the order which included a double and a run scored in Houston’s 5 -2 win over Kansas City on Thursday night. His double in the second inning with two outs kept the inning alive and Marisnick scored on a single by Jose Altuve before Yordano Ventura left the game after a rain delay in the second inning. Although Marisnick struggled in the second half, he did finish September/October with a .275 average with three home runs and seven stolen bases. Analysis: Greg Jewett
