Jonathan Papelbon earned his 11th save with a scoreless ninth inning against the Mets on Saturday. He walked one and had one strikeout.
Papelbon continued his resurgence on Saturday having now gone 11-for-12 in save chances in the early going. He is now sitting on a 1.76 ERA and 0.98 WHIP through 15.1 innings of work, having yet to allow an earned run since April 2 (3 ER). The Phillies closer has now pitched back-to-back days so there is a chance he may get the day off on Sunday so plan accordingly. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Wilson Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the Nationals 2-1 win over the Cubs on Monday.
Ramos hit his third home run of the season on Monday to go with a .285 average, 13 runs and 21 RBI. Health has been Ramos’s biggest hindrance so far in his career as he has appeared in more than 100 games just once since he entered the league in 2010 but that has not stopped the production as he has hit 10+ home runs three times since 2011 and boasts a per 162 average of 22 home runs and 87 RBI which would make him one of the top offensive catchers in baseball. Ramos owners should keep their fingers crossed that this is the year he plays a full season as they will likely end up with one of the top catchers in fantasy. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
