Glen Perkins picked up his ninth save of the year despite allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts over one inning against the Tigers on Friday.
After allowing four runs over his first three appearances to start the season Perkins has allowed just two over his next nine appearances. So, just chalk this up to a tough matchup versus a talented Tigers lineup. Wesley Johnson will start for the Clippers on Monday.
With Paul Pierce resting on Monday, Wesley Johnson will draw his sixth start of the season. After being taken with the fourth pick of the 2010 draft, Johnson simply hasn't panned out. That being said, he's a very reliable rotation player and will most likely give the Clippers solid minutes on Monday. Analysis: James Grande
