Michael Bourn (left hamstring tightness) is scheduled to run the bases prior to Wednesday's game. Bourn might be cleared to resume playing within the next few days.

Bourn continues to battle a hamstring injury but did not need a trip to the disabled list, indicating that the injury is not of the serious variety. At best, he will make a return this weekend, but next week is a more likely target to get back into the Indians starting lineup. ANALYST: Matthew Beck

Luke Kuechly is still in the concussion protocol. The Panthers are optimistic he'll be ready for Week 6.

That optimism is coming from coach Ron Rivera, so in truth, it doesn't mean squat. The doctors will continue to evaluate Kuechly, but keep in mind that he has missed a number of weeks and shown very little improvement. Rivera can hope all he wants. Hope is not what will get his star linebacker on the field. Stay tuned. Analysis: Howard Bender

Reports about Ben Roethlisberger returning this month are false. He's still in a lot of pain.

Obviously the buzz out of Pittsburgh was that he could return sooner than originally expected, but with this not being the case, it should serve as a reminder to all of you that you need to really watch where you get your news. Local team blogs and even some legitimate beat writers tend to project their own hopes in their writing and thus, the rumor mill starts to churn. Nothing has changed with regard to Roethlisberger's recovery timetable. He is still expected to be out for at least another three weeks. Analysis: Howard Bender

Rolando McClain has returned to Cowboy's practice Wednesday.

McClain finally returned after serving his four game suspension. With no injuries to note, he should be just fine for Week 5. Analysis: Howard Bender

Sean Lee is not practicing Wednesday.

Lee is still dealing with a concussion and has yet to receive clearance to practice or play. While Jerry Jones came out and said that the linebacker would play this week, it is not up to him. The doctors will have to approve. Analysis: Howard Bender

K'Waun Williams was cleared from concussion protocol, per coach Mike Pettine. He will practice Wednesday.

Williams is expected to return for Week 5, so long as he doesn't incur any setbacks. He will start of Joe Haden is unable to go or he will serve as the back-up and likely nickel corner. Either way, the Browns expect him on the field. Analysis: Howard Bender

Devon Kennard is not practicing Wednesday.

Kennard continues to battle a toe injury and his absence from practice is not a good sign for this week. Monitor his practice schedule this week to see as the Giants linebacker corps is already depleted enough. Analysis: Howard Bender

Head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Chris Givens will be included in the Ravens' game plan for Week 5.

While Harbaugh said Givens would be included, he really didn't elaborate on what kind of a role the receiver would play. With both Steve Smith (ribs) and Breshad Perriman (knee) ruled out for Week 5, Givens will take part in some fashion. However, expect Kamar Aiken and tight end Maxx Williams to be the target leaders for the Ravens this week. Analysis: Howard Bender

Stedman Bailey was fined for his TD celebration Sunday.

After Bailey caught a third quarter touchdown pass from Nick Foles, he went to the corner of the end zone and pretended to go to sleep, using the ball as a pillow. The use of the ball as a prop is a no-no when it comes to touchdown celebrations and the result is a lighter wallet despite the refs not throwing a flag.  Analysis: Howard Bender

Bears have elevated Demontre Hurst to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

Hurst will simply provide some depth to the Bears secondary while Antrel Rolle remains questionable with a foot injury. He doesn't have any fantasy value as a reserve. Analysis: Howard Bender

Perry Riley (calf) is practicing Wednesday for the first time in three weeks.

Riley has been dealing with a calf injury this whole time and as we've seen over time, it's the calf injury that tends to linger the most. It's encouraging to see him at practice and that certainly increases his chances of playing this week. Continue to monitor his practice schedule before considering him in any IDP league. Analysis: Howard Bender

DeAngelo Hall (toe) is working off to the side at Wednesday's practice.

Hall was expected to miss three to four weeks with a tear in his toe, so while he may be doing some limited work on the sidelines, he still has up to two weeks to go. Don't expect to see him until around Week 6 or 7. Analysis: Howard Bender

Tayshaun Prince will not play Wednesday due to a dental procedure.

Nothing too serious here but anyone who's had dental work knows that mouth pain can be one of the worst kinds of pain out there. Consider him day-to-day and expect him to return to practice later this week. Analysis: Howard Bender

Colts have resigned QB Josh Johnson.

Johnson's old/new teammates are going to start calling him yo-yo soon as the Colts are obviously not thrilled with Andrew Luck's shoulder, despite Chuck Pagano's statements that their star quarterback would be back on the field Thursday. Johnson has no fantasy value as Matt Hasselbeck's back-up. Analysis: Howard Bender

DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is practicing Wednesday.

Jackson has missed the last three games with a strained hamstring but was finally expected to return to practice this week. The hope is that he can gradually increase his level of participation and be ready in time for this week's game against the Falcons. Monitor his practice schedule during the week as that will determine whether or not he can play Sunday.  Analysis: Howard Bender

Victor Cruz (calf) is not practicing Wednesday.

This calf injury is really what is ruining Cruz' season right now. He received a platelet-rich injection last week to help the healing process along, but he still doesn't seem to be making enough progress. The Giants had hoped to have him back for Week 4, but now even Week 5 is looking questionable. Monitor his practice schedule this week and if he doesn't take part, consider him unusable in fantasy . Analysis: Howard Bender
