Jurickson Profar said he will take batting practice on the field Tuesday and throw at 60 feet Wednesday.
The stud prospect has yet to flourish in the big leagues. He is progressing each day, but still has a long time before he is able to play in games. Feel free to drop him in standard mixed leagues.ANALYST: Mark Kaplan
It will mark the first time for Profar to engage in these activities since landing on the disabled list with a torn shoulder muscle. The Rangers currently do not have a timetable for his return, but at least this is an encouraging sign should everything go well. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
The Raiders could be interested in free agent wide receiver Randall Cobb.
Raiders' GM Reggie McKenzie drafted Cobb in his final year as the Packers' Director of Player Personnel. McKenzie apparently wants to reunite Cobb with his former mentor James Jones, who signed with the Raiders last offseason and was the team's most consistent receiver throughout the 2014 season. The question is, would the Raiders be able to convince Cobb to sign with them? They'll likely need to comfortably outbid the next highest bidder to earn rights to his services. If this scenario were to actually come to fruition, Derek Carr would get a nice boost in fantasy value. Analysis: Spencer Silva
