Michael Carter-Williams underwent successful surgery today to repair the labrum of his right shoulder.
The extent of MCW's injury makes his Rookie of the Year award winning season that much more impressive and helps explain some of his struggles from the field as he finished the year making just 40.5% of his field goal attempts and one of the lowest three point percentages in the league at just 26.4%. He reportedly had been dealing with the injury since January. Having the surgery now will allow him to be ready for the beginning of camp.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Bills are expected to release Mario Williams.
It was obvious that he was not fitting into the defensive scheme being employed by Rex Ryan and his staff. At 31 years of age, he still should have some skills left to devote to another team that will utilize his pass rush and tackling abilities. Look for him to catch on with another team if Buffalo decides to cut him loose. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson
DeMarcus Ware said that he intends to continue playing.
Ware has been quoted as saying that "he's got a lot of gas left in the tank," so this announcement comes as no huge shock. Playing opposite Von Miller help to revitalize his game, as he snagged 7.5 sacks in 11 regular season games and 3.5 in three post season games, with two of those coming in the Super Bowl last Sunday.
