Michael Carter-Williams underwent successful surgery today to repair the labrum of his right shoulder.
The extent of MCW's injury makes his Rookie of the Year award winning season that much more impressive and helps explain some of his struggles from the field as he finished the year making just 40.5% of his field goal attempts and one of the lowest three point percentages in the league at just 26.4%. He reportedly had been dealing with the injury since January. Having the surgery now will allow him to be ready for the beginning of camp.
