Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network spoke to people who know Texans GM Rick Smith well, and he no longer believes it’s a certainty that Jadeveon Clowney would be their first pick.
The Texans have shown uncertainty leading up to the NFL Draft, and if they plan on passing on Clowney, the team will likely trade the top pick to acquire a handful of picks for both this year's and future drafts. While this move may seem a bit wild to some, we have seen teams in the past be able to rebuild making moves like this. Then again who knows the next time a player like Clowney will be on the board. Raisel Iglesias will start for the Reds on Sunday.
Iglesias has been used out of the bullpen twice since his last start 10 days ago, and has given up three earned runs in three innings in that time. That being said, Iglesias was fairly solid in his two starts this season, going 1-0 with a 2.77 ERA and a 9/5 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 13 innings pitched. Analysis: Brad Costilo
