Jason Motte (elbow), pitching for the first time in a year struck out the side for Double-A Springfield on Sunday.
Motte missed all of last season with an elbow injury. He was an elite closer before he got hurt, but will now be the setup man for Trevor Rosenthal. There is a chance he could get some save opportunities if something were to happen to Rosenthal.ANALYST: Mark Kaplan
Chris Thompson is day-to-day with a AC joint sprain.
There has been a shuffling three-headed attack out of the Washington backfield this season that is making it very hard on fantasy owners to play any of the options from week to week. Thompson has been a threat at times this season but even if he's a full go it could be hard to rely on solid points from him in Week 13. Analysis: Matt Selz
Ricky Rubio practiced in full on Monday.
Well it's good to see Rubio make it through a full practice with the ailing ankle but it's still hard to count him in as a definite play until the ball is actually tipped. Minnesota plays it's next contest Tuesday and if Rubio is a go then he should be in your lineup, however if it's Zach LaVine there is good value there too. Analysis: Matt Selz
Bengals waive former 4th round pick LB Sean Porter from Reserve/PUP.
A career filled with injuries is how Porter will be remembered in Cincinnati, if he's remembered at all. Since being drafted in 2013, the linebacker has had a torn labrum, nagging hamstring injuries, and a torn ACL that has not allowed him to play but a handful of games in his time with the Bengals. If he catches on with another team it will likely be on the practice squad. Analysis: Matt Selz
Chris Kaman (ankle) will not play Monday.
The big man has only played in three games this year and logged a totaled of 48 minutes on the court. Kaman also didn't play Saturday with the ailing ankle so this will now be two games in a row missed. Even when healthy now he clearly doesn't play enough or log enough stats to make him in anyway worth rostering in fantasy leagues. Analysis: Matt Selz
Norris Cole felt good after Monday's practice and is listed as day-to-day.
Cole is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday according to Pelicans' Head Coach Alvin Gentry after spraining his ankle at the end of the preseason. If he does make his debut he will be in the second unit for the Pelicans and will provide much needed depth off the bench in the back court. He has limited value in fantasy realms due to the expected limited minutes off the bench. Analysis: Matt Selz
Jets CB Marcus Williams is week-to-week with an MCL sprain.
Williams filled in quite well for Darrelle Revis on Sunday against Miami as he came up with an interception in the first quarter. When he left Darrin Walls filled in for him, it will be interesting to see who plays corner for the Jets in Week 13 against the Giants as Revis is still up in the air with the concussion.
