Clayton Kershaw will throw a bullpen session on Friday in Miami, before returning to the Dodgers' rotation in time to start against the Nationals on Monday.
Both the Dodgers and fantasy owners has anxiously been awaiting the return of their staff ace, and are only a few days away from seeing him take the mound for the first time since March. There is no doubt Kershaw will be a great pitcher in 2014, but there may be a little rust to brush off after being out of action for almost two months. He makes for a great by-low candidate if you are able to coerce someone into trading away arguably the best pitcher in the National League. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Wilson Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the Nationals 2-1 win over the Cubs on Monday.
Ramos hit his third home run of the season on Monday to go with a .285 average, 13 runs and 21 RBI. Health has been Ramos’s biggest hindrance so far in his career as he has appeared in more than 100 games just once since he entered the league in 2010 but that has not stopped the production as he has hit 10+ home runs three times since 2011 and boasts a per 162 average of 22 home runs and 87 RBI which would make him one of the top offensive catchers in baseball. Ramos owners should keep their fingers crossed that this is the year he plays a full season as they will likely end up with one of the top catchers in fantasy. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
