Stephen Curry scored a game-high 24 points with four boards and nine assists in a losing effort to the Clippers on Thursday. Game 7 will be on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Curry continues to thrive at home in the round one series versus the Clippers as he was averaging 24.5 points and 11 assists in the Oracle. The question becomes can he and Klay Thompson click on the same night as they will be playing for their playoff lives in Game 7 on Saturday in LA.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Brett Oberholtzer is going throw live batting batting practice with Triple-A Fresno in the next few days, maybe Sunday or Monday.
Oberholtzer is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a blister on his left index finger. He's expected to throw a bullpen in the coming days, and may throw another session before making a rehab start with Triple-A Fresno. Oberholtzer suffered the blister late in spring training, forcing him to start the season on the DL. The southpaw made on start on May 13 before aggravating the blister and landing back on the DL. It's a tough start to the season for Oberholtzer, especially because the injury has prevented him from building "up to the 100 pitches" in terms of arm strength, per manager A.J. Hinch. He could make his second start of the season for Houston right around the start of June, but isn't a viable fantasy option in most leagues. Analysis: Ben Diamond
David Wright should begin playing in rehab games next week.
The plan is for him to begin rehab next week and to hopefully be ready for the big leagues within two weeks or so. The Mets, after starting out red hot, have sorely missed Wright's bat in the lineup, as they have looked desperate at third and in the heart of their order. Expect the veteran to make an impact once he returns. Analysis: Dom Murtha
