Free-agent DT Kevin Williams said he will consider retirement if he does not receive the salary he is looking for this offseason.
The 33-year old defensive tackle isn't the player he once was and posted just 29 tackles with 3.5 sacks and one interception last season in a more limited role than he is used to. He's a great supporting player, but his days of being a premium player are behind him. He's probably not quite ready for retirement so expect to see him hanging around a little longer.ANALYST: Howard Bender
The Mariners and Marlins are discussing a trade that would send Marcell Ozuna to Seattle.
After hitting 23 home runs in his first full season in 2013, Ozuna disappointed with just 10 home runs in 494 PA in 2014. His HR/FB rate fell back to around league average last year, which obviously killed his value. But he did cut his strikeout rate down from the mid-20's to the low-20's and he'll just be 25 this season, so there'a a chance for a bounce back. Unfortunately a move to Seattle wouldn't represent an upgrade in home park, but at least it's a lateral move from Miami. Analysis: Brett Talley
