Aroldis Chapman retired all three batters he faced with a pair of strikeouts in his first rehab game.
The Reds just want to get him a few sessions to make sure he's ready, so he could be back by the beginning of next week. Congratulations, Chapman owners. You've weathered the storm and now it's time for the benefits.ANALYST: Howard Bender
MLB/MLBPA panel is deadlocked over whether Josh Hamilton should be sent to rehab.
Hamilton's fate rested in the hands of four people, and the votes were split on whether or not to send the former All-Star to rehab. Hamilton was known to have failed at least six drug tests as a minor leaguer and was suspended from baseball from 2004 to 2006. He is in the third year of a five-year, $125 million deal and the Angels are hoping that he is on the field. He has been a bust since inking this contract and he is worth no more than a last round draft pick, especially with this relapse news. Analysis: Colby Conway
