Zack Greinke improved to 5-0 on the season as he held the Twins to one unearned run on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings Wednesday. It was franchise win number 10,000 for the Dodgers.
Greinke has now made 18 straight regular-season starts of five or more innings while allowing two runs or fewer, which is the most since 1914. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Ravens announce extension for cornerback Jimmy Smith.
The deal is said to give him an average of just under $10 million per year. Smith was heading into the final year of his rookie contract – a reported $6.9 million option that the team picked up before last season. Considering his level of play and contributions on defense, it would have been quite the bargain but probably would have left a bad taste in the cornerback's mouth. He should be all smiles though heading into camp now with a new deal. Analysis: Howard Bender
Mirza Teletovic is listed as probable for Wednesday.
Teletovic was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolus, meaning he had blood clots in his lungs. He hasn't played since January 22nd, but he looks like he will be on the court for Wednesday's game. It would be surprising to see him play a full workload of minutes seeing as its been three months since he's last played. Regardless, his return would be a nice emotional boost to his team.
