Zack Greinke improved to 5-0 on the season as he held the Twins to one unearned run on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings Wednesday. It was franchise win number 10,000 for the Dodgers.
Greinke has now made 18 straight regular-season starts of five or more innings while allowing two runs or fewer, which is the most since 1914. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Paul Millsap does not need surgery on his shoulder, just rest.
After the Hawks were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, it was reported he could need surgery on his sprained right shoulder. Millsap will head into the offseason as a free agent and he is reportedly undecided about how he will conduct his summer. He didn't play well in the playoffs, although it's tough to know how much the shoulder affected his play. Analysis: Spencer Silva
Blue Jays optioned RHP Scott Copeland to Triple-A Buffalo.
Copeland didn't pitch during his short stint back with the club, but recorded three scoreless innings in a previous stint earlier this month. At 27, he's not much of a prospect in spite of having strong success in the International League in 2015. He could eventually establish himself as a swingman for the Jays in the near future.
