Patrick Beverley (illness) is going through his usual pregame warmup and will play Wednesday.
On top of the usual knee issues, Beverley is also dealing with some sort of a bug and running a fever. That will certainly affect his stamina, but not to the point where he'll be a detriment to the team. He'll fulfill his usual role, though he may see a little more of the bench from time to time. Here's hoping he doesn't puke on the court!ANALYST: Howard Bender
Paul Millsap does not need surgery on his shoulder, just rest.
After the Hawks were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, it was reported he could need surgery on his sprained right shoulder. Millsap will head into the offseason as a free agent and he is reportedly undecided about how he will conduct his summer. He didn't play well in the playoffs, although it's tough to know how much the shoulder affected his play. Analysis: Spencer Silva
Blue Jays optioned RHP Scott Copeland to Triple-A Buffalo.
Copeland didn't pitch during his short stint back with the club, but recorded three scoreless innings in a previous stint earlier this month. At 27, he's not much of a prospect in spite of having strong success in the International League in 2015. He could eventually establish himself as a swingman for the Jays in the near future.
