James Loney went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Loney recently had an eight-game hit streak working, but lost in and went 0-for-8 over his last two games. This performance pulled his average to .301 and while he hasn't been the most productive guy with the bat thus far, he still has a solid 15-RBI total. He's a low-end contributor at a position loaded with power, so consider him more of a last resort at the position this season.
