Randal Grichuk will start in center field and bat seventh Tuesday against the Brewers.
Grichuk, who was recently recalled from Triple-A Memphis, is a righty who will be facing a righty in Brewers starter Kyle Lohse tonight. Using Grichuk in any contest does not appear worth while on paper as Grichuk does not offer much power or speed upside and you have the aforementioned righty vs righty matchup. Kevin Durant scored 40 points (12-25 FGA, 13-13 FTA) with 14 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two blocks over 40 minutes in Saturday’s loss against the Warriors.
The fact that Kevin Durant missed practically the entire 2014-’15 season and barely skipped a beat is insane. It’s almost like he was never injured in the first place. Anyways, over his last five games specifically, Durant has done serious damage. He’s averaged 33.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game. The fact Durant has taken 25 shots in two consecutive games lets us know that Russell Westbrook is finally realizing who the alpha on the Oklahoma City Thunder is. Durant will always be costly in DFS because he has the ability for 70 point outbreaks such as Saturday’s game against the Warriors. Costly or not, he’s one of the best players in the world and is worth every penny. Analysis: James Grande
