Bryce Harper is not in the Nationals starting lineup on Saturday.
No surprise here as Harper is still experiencing some pain and a bit of swelling in his left thumb after jamming it during Friday's game. He hasn't received an MRI yet to check for damage beyond a break yet, so continue to view him as day-to-day.ANALYST: Howard Bender
George Springer went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI in the Astros 6-2 loss to the Tigers on Friday.
Springer has now collected two hits in three straight games which has helped raise his average from .195 to .214 on the season. A concussion sidelined Springer in early May but he has played well since his return, hitting .282 with six runs, two home runs and four RBI. Fantasy owners will have to deal with the low batting average as Springer is once again on pace to rank among the league leaders in strikeouts but he’s already reached double-digit stole bases and could flirt with a 30/30 season given his potential.
